Overview of Focal Point by Crystal Pools LLC At the 'Focal Point' of Columbia, the Crystal Pools LLC landscaping is a testament to great design and craftsmanship. A forward-thinking client requested an outdoor amenity that was aesthetically pleasing yet extremely functional, sparking this transformative . Crystal Pools LLC designed a custom water feature that serves as a beautiful focal point. Carefully selected natural stone boulders, sourced locally, were used to build a waterfall that tumbles into a tranquil pond, maintaining a peaceful atmosphere on this . We then surrounded this focal point with dense, native plantings which not only look beautiful, but help support local wildlife. The gentle slope of the terrain was amongst the key challenges of the , requiring creative grading and drainage design to balance the aesthetic and functional water flow. With our skilled team this was easily achievable, we used sustainable materials/methods to ensure that this landscape remains sustainable without compromising on refinement. The end result is an inviting combination of hardscape and softscape, where snaking flagstone pathways made out of high-quality, low-tone textured stone invite people into a vibrant mosaic of flowering plant material and texture-rich ornamental grasses. Promoted as "an oasis" in the city, strategic lighting was added to illuminate the water feature to create a whimsical setting when the sun sets. The client was very pleased with the result, pointing out that 'Focal Point' would not only add value to the property but also become a space for family gatherings or just quiet getaway time.
