When they first viewed the property, the landscaping consisted of overgrown bushes and a sad lawn, not doing justice to the character of the house. As a team, we took on the challenge of a complete redesign, centering on improving the aesthetics and usability of the exterior. We searched for Texas native plants that would survive and thrive in the Texas climate for sustainable and low maintenance for years to come. Some highlights of the scope of work are the addition of a lovely stone pathway leading to a terrace patio that is ideal for entertaining. The path features high-quality flagstone which gives a natural look that matches with greenery. To bolster the inviting space for entertaining in the backyard, they added a custom-built fire pit, which was complemented by seating placed around it. During this we encountered challenges including sloped land and drainage issues. We brought in our team of experts and constructed a flattened area with drainage that left behind a beautifully designed land mass without needing any flooding. The end product looked absolutely fantastic transforming a yard that was previously overgrown into a lovely outdoor space. The clients were thrilled not only with the quality of work but the transition from hardscaping to softscaping. Our before & after photos paint this miracle quite nicely as we strive to implement all of our craftsmanship with quality and love for beautiful, yet functional landscapes.
