Xerxes by MT Carpenter Landscape Inc. MT Carpenter Landscape Inc. is excited to showcase the 'Xerxes' , an incredible transformation exemplifying our commitment to quality and innovation in landscaping. This complete overhaul of a 2,500-square-foot residential yard is located in beautiful Maple Grove and focuses on aesthetics and function while creating a peaceful outdoor retreat. The design included a mix of native plants while enhancing the local ecosystem using drought-resistant landscaping with native plants. Terrific materials, including a natural stone pathway, were carefully chosen to guide visitors through the colorful perennial flower beds and ornamental grasses of the garden. The highlight of the is a detailed, custom firepit with natural stone boulders that creates a gathering space for family and friends. One of the primary challenges was the site if either side of the property was not flat. Proper grading and drainage required to manage water and erosion were imperative. The MT Carpenter team is talented and used new techniques to grade the landscape resulting in a double benefit of beauty and functionality. The end result of the Xerxes is a spectacular multi-functional landscape that met and exceeded the client goals. The composition of beauty and purpose offers a feeling of relaxation and enjoyment of the outdoors, providing a glimpse of how MT Carpenter Landscape Inc. turns concept into reality. While adding beauty to the property, we left the homeowners with a property that they will appreciate and value for many years to come; a true reflection of their style, while generating a new standard of craftsmanship within our service areas of Bethel, Cambridge and Minneapolis.
