Water Garden, Ben Young Landscape Design From the spectacular vistas of Sun Valley, ID to the bustling streets of New York, NY, find a sense of harmony in nature with the artistry of Ben Young Landscape Design and their 'Water Garden'. This one-of-a-kind changed an average backyard to a haven, boasting a beautiful, multi-tiered pond surrounded by carefully-strewn stones, abundant plantings, and waterfall that serves as the focal point of the garden. Harmonisation with natural topography and other existing elements to bring the adjacent water features (including water retention areas and permanent water) up to surface design process around the interface detail. We implemented innovative engineering techniques and high quality materials to navigate challenges with site drainage soil composition and subgrade conditions to seal a strong foundation for the pond and surrounding landscape. Natural stone was used to edge the pond, and a mixture of water lilies and lotus flowers were planted to further beautify it while also providing shelter for local wildlife. The water is clear, the garden glows at night due to the lighting distributed around the garden, along with other creative custom-built filtration systems. We also added flagstone pathways wandering through the garden, encouraging users to immerse themselves in nature. The design embodies grace and provides an area of balance for the homeowners as well as their guests. At the end of the , the satisfied clients said they were in love with the transformation of the site and that the Water Garden became one of the places where they spend most of the time with their family.
