It was important to connect the living area outside to make these connections to nature. This home was also experiencing rain drainage issues, so we incorporated a rain garden that was both an awesome design element filled with blooms, and also managed their stormwater runoff effectively. Our professional team was faced with challenges along the way that included steep slopes with unevenness on the property, old trees with roots that created difficulty, but with creative use of professional techniques we navigated through the complexities, and ultimately created interesting features that transitions and blends the both distinct environments of built and nature well. The final product is a stunning landscape that incorporates a design of functional use and beauty for the client to enjoy throughout the year.
