Destination Patios by Jane Dilworth & Associates Situated among the beautiful landscapes of Burr Ridge and nearby suburbs, 'Destination Patios', a executed by Jane Dilworth & Associates, defines outdoor elegance and practicality. This completely redesigned a standard backyard to create a beautiful outdoor oasis for both relaxation and entertainment. The design showcases large stone patios in high quality natural bluestone, perfectly fitted into the surrounding greenery of the surrounding gardens. Each stone was hand-selected for its unique texture and color to form a jaw-dropping tapestry that beautifully contoured with the vibrance of the other flora present on the property. The only interruption to the stone patios, are custom seating walls constructed of durable, weather-proof material that offer a seamless combination of visual and functional design. Unexpectedly, one of the greatest challenges we encountered on this small was the sloping terrain of the property. Our team laser-graded, or 'cut and filled', the existing land to create proper drainage, while working with the existing landscape. We also worked for usability by creating tiered levels within the overall patio design. Not only did this create great visual aesthetics, but this usable tier also expanded the outdoor footprint for large gatherings. Additionally, we proposed a beautiful fire pit as part of the overall design - we encompassed the fire pit with additional cozy seating potential to create a great gathering space for evenings, or quiet evenings under the stars. A key physical aspect to the properties aesthetic is the exterior lighting that was integrated and installed to offer beauty even after the sun sets. The final product accomplished a beautiful outdoor paradise that impressed the client and their guests, and served as an amazing backdrop for family gatherings, social events, or a family 'stay-cation'. It was the exquisite blend of elegance and utility that signified the overall dedication to quality and craftsmanship that is atmospheric at Jane Dilworth & Associates!
