Landscape Gallery by Jane Dilworth & Associates The 'Landscape Gallery' , designed and installed by Jane Dilworth & Associates in Burr Ridge, showcases a thoughtful, functional, and beautifully executed landscape design. This captures the varying communities that surround Burr Ridge, including communities such as Darien, Downers Grove, and Naperville. Native plants were chosen as part of the design to yield seasonal texture while being durable. The vibrancy of color and texture changes throughout the seasons bringing the landscape to life. The water feature acts as the 's focal point beautifully fabricated with natural stone and complemented by an arrangement of various plantings that provide both movement and sound. In addition, the use of permeable pavers for paths enhances the aesthetics of the while addressing some drainage complications taking place in the area. In this case, the slope of the site posed some challenges in terms of erosion, drainage, and the aesthetic of the landscape. The designers created a series of retaining walls using natural stone, which add a sense of distinction while addressing functionality. The tiered plant beds allow great depth and detail, showing an interesting cross-section of a variety of plant material. When finalizing the , a couple of areas were developed for seating, allowing for visitors to enjoy the landscape and surrounding natural beauty. A completed that left the client in awe - a nature-driven gallery that melded nature and design. The landscape accomplished a desired vision, enhanced the value of the property, and melded into the lifestyles of its inhabitants.
