Retaining Wall with Boulders Old Canyon Road McCumber Fine Gardens is proud to introduce an exciting product Upper Canyon Road Retaining Walla that demonstrates our capabilities in quality and craftsmanship. This took place on a beautiful landscape in Santa Fe. It included building a rugged, hardscape stone wall that improved function and aesthetics for our client. To accomplish this, we hand selected locally sourced natural boulders for our wall, carefully arranging them to fit the site. This choice provided structural integrity while mimicking the natural landscape, enhancing both the aoe and utility value of the rock wall and our construction efforts. Each stone was arranged with care to enhance the design without compromising soil erosion, requiring proper layering and placement of the rocks while maintaining similar design complexity to the natural site. Along the way, we experienced challenges, including manipulating land grading orders and ensuring no water would pool behind the stone if it rained. Our talented landscapers executed these tasks impeccably without risk of water damage. By installing a static drainage system behind the stone wall, we made sure that the wall would last many years while maintaining the natural site. In conclusion, the finished is simply beautiful; it serves its function and upgrades the property. Our client promptly issued the company a postcard thanking us, expressing how proud they were of the rock wall. Furthermore, we assured them that the rock wall would hold up for many years, mixing function with form.
