Backyard Garden & Patio Upgrade The 'Transfigured Backyard Garden & Patio' By J.R. Thomas Landscaping, Inc. a lush outdoor living space transformation located in the middle of Cincinnati. Blending form and function, this extensive renovation serves as a calming refuge ideal for relaxation and entertaining. Central to the was the installation of a beautiful stone patio using natural bluestone, which created a hard-wearing yet beautiful surface for outdoor entertaining. We have surrounded the patio with a mix of native plants, including perennials and ornamental grasses that will thrive in our climate. Now that not only beautifies the place but also assists local biodiversity. The biggest challenge we had was the sloped backyard so we had to grade it creatively to avoid drainage issues. We transformed the slope into a layered landscape, with our experienced team utilising up-cycled timber to cleverly create tiered garden beds. Filled with nutrient rich soil, the beds allowed for healthy plant growth and thus abundant yields of herbs and vegetables to feed the family. In addition, we also included subtle landscape lighting with a general wash, which bathes the garden paths and accents on the beautiful leaves at night, providing a lovely evening atmosphere for weekend socializing. Surrounded by seating, a custom fire pit serves as a gathering space for family and friends, making the newly improved area an ideal spot for quiet evenings or summer barbecues. Fresh out of the industry, the results took things up a notch and after we explaining the entire to the client, their backyard was not only more beautiful but a lot peaceful! J.R. Thomas Landscaping, Inc. is responsible for creating an outdoor haven where nature and a luxury home naturally come together, an asset that complements any home with a dwell light look but with an incredible attention to detail, and the quality type of work that helps us to appreciate the beauty around us.
