This recent restoration called 'Patio with Pergola' represents our workmanship & innovative designs. This started with the goal of creating a peaceful outdoor living space for our clients to enjoy family affairs and summer nights in West Chester. The task at hand was within a small backyard site and required to be integrated into the existing landscape. We carefully planned the layout as both something that looks good, but more importantly serves its function. A sprawling, multi-level patio with pavers in an earthy brown color was constructed with well-priced materials, all of which are locally sourced. Not only does this give them a solid surface for entertaining, but it also complements the natural landscape, staying true to the 's focus on architecture and nature. We addressed this by building a beautiful custom western red cedar pergola that provides vertical relief while creating shade and encourages climbing plants to grow, which further softens the space. It was challenging to join the patio to the current drainage so during heavy rain, the water does not build up. Using its experience, our talented crew created a grading strategy that guides runoff away from the building, helping to protect the patio and surrounding vegetation for years to come. The end result is a stunning outdoor oasis that was even better than our client had dreamed of. The new patio is the perfect setting for outdoor dining, and the genial pergola creates a perfect hideaway to kick back and relax. The clients loved that it was hands down the cleanest renovation they have seen in a long time, courtesy of our diligent construction team and said it was designed beautifully to fit their lifestyle.
