OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES by Sargent's Gardens in Sydney Sargent's Gardens is thrilled to share the recently completed 'Outdoor Living Spaces' a beautiful renovation that turned the clients backyard into an escape. This extensive landscaping was completed by our team and proudly services Elgin, Eyota, Hammond, Millville, Oronoco, Rochester, Zumbro Falls, Byron, Stewartville, St. Charles, and the surrounding Olmsted County area. This started off with an extensive consultation with the client regarding what kind of outdoor space the client would like to achieve. We designed a space with a cohesive layout which included a stone patio for outdoor entertainment, seating around a fire pit for nighttime, and vibrant flower filled garden beds with perennial blooms that keep coming back year after year. We opted to use the highest quality materials possible, as we wanted the to last, such as locally made flagstone and weather-resistant furniture and materials that require little, to no maintenance. The most daunting dilemma we had to deal with was the lack of evenness of the land that required a lot of grading, and draining solutions to stop water from pooling. After leveling of the ground was done, we installed concrete that not only upped the aesthetic appeal of the place but also its functionality. The end product was nothing if not exceptional. An inviting vibe in the outdoor living space now, which benefits from well-placed lighting that showcases the natural beauty of the landscaping on site. The client was delighted with the transformation and now has a super functional backyard for all the family functions or a quiet evening.
