Waterfront Updates - Richmond Beach, WA Borealis Landscape & Design, acting as Skipley Farm, would like to introduce our most recent d “Waterfront Updates” at Richmond Beach, WA. This impressive transformation speaks volumes to our quality craftsmanship and landscaping stories customized to our client's needs. The included a complete redesign of the waterfront area we installed natural stone pathways, native plantings, and a calming water feature, all in a way that is connected to and supported one another in its environment. Careful consideration went into sourcing locally to add durable, weather-resistant stones that integrate into this coastal landscape. A primary challenge encountered at this site was the significant change in slope on the site. To reduce erosion while providing the spaces for relaxation and entertainment, the team engineered a series of tiered terraces. The drought-resistant plantings were chosen to provide visual appeal but also for the sustainability benefits with less maintenance and less water. The result was a stunning waterfront oasis that our clients are thrilled with, having a tranquil, open seating area with wonderful views of water, striking seasonal flower beds, and thoughtful pathways throughout that encourage visits. Each component was completed with intentions to be functional, visually appealing, and a necessity to the outcome that exemplifies the integrity Borealis Landscape & Design dedicates itself to. The integrity and quality we pride ourselves on have made an impact not only in the Richmond Beach , but also created many memories for the clients as a making a forever home, and maintains composting with their own stewardship on their reimagined property.
