Arbors/Pergolas/Fences by Borealis Landscape & Design DBA Skipley Farm At Borealis Landscape & Design, we recently finished a beautiful lawn installation called 'Arbors/Pergolas/Fences' to transform a private outdoor space into a beautiful escape. Serving the stunning areas of the Pacific Northwest, including Alderwood Manor, Bothell, and Woodinville, we take pride in marrying artistic designs with nature. We made custom arbors and pergolas to visually enhance the area and provide shade in areas for lounging beneath them. These structures were built with premium cedar wood that will withstand the elements, while providing a seamless form to align with the surrounding area in the lawn. The trellis work and vines helped to add whimsy, encouraging nature to be a part of our work, and it was great to see climb and embellish the lumber. One specific area of work included addressing the slope of the property, which required our team to level up and provide reinforcing on the structures. We utilized some engineering techniques and soil stabilization work to fulfill the nature of the structures and provide both support and design. In addition to the arbors and pergolas, we also provided a beautiful fence that created a private space, while providing safety and support for a similar modern design. Using materials that were locally sourced, we built this fence with vertical and horizontal slats, capturing a mix of modern and timeless design aesthetics that was aligned with the vision of the client. The final product was an enhanced outdoor oasis that our client appreciated, providing them private spaces they could modify or use to enjoy being outdoors with guests, or just relax and observe nature. Additionally, this enhanced their property value, basically improving their living experience in relation to the Pacific Northwest.
