Part 1: Crystal Pools LLC Mountain Retreat Set against the picturesque landscape of the Midlands, Crystal Pools LLC showcases the Mountain Retreat landscaping a breathtaking renovation introducing a new era of outdoor living. From Arcadia Lakes to Charleston, our mission was to create an oasis that blends with nature while serving our clients in Lexington and beyond with function and beauty. It included a complex multi-level landscape with a native plant, ornamental grass and flowering shrub display garden, all selected for durability and suitability to the local site conditions. The only catch was that we worked on a slight slope, so grading for drainage and maintaining soil health was all creativity. Natural stone retaining walls were added not only to help hold the land in place but also to provide a vertical accent that commands attention and mirrors the height of the mountains. Alongside our expansive gardens, we incorporated a peaceful water feature with a tiered waterfall and koi pond, sourced from local streams, to produce a calming atmosphere and wildlife-friendly area. In harmony with the flora that surround it, the sound of water beckons relaxation and contemplation. Flagstone paths surround the water feature to allow for access through the gardens while enticing visitors to wander. We added custom-built timber pergolas and lounge areas to create a retreat ambiance, using responsibly sourced timber that merges into the environment. Ours is a magical outdoor lighting system that showcases the beauty of the landscape so that our clients can also enjoy the ambiance of their spectacular mountain retreat in the dark hours. This was then realised in an impressive outdoor space that simply surpassed the expectations of our clients. The 'Mountain Retreat' is now a cherished destination for family and friends, capturing the very essence of leisure and nature that Crystal Pools LLC seeks to accomplish with its s.
