Ladue Home Landscaping by Petra Masonry The 'Ladue Home' landscaping is located in Ladue, Missouri, and is a beautiful demonstration of the art of landscaping and craftsmanship displayed by Petra Masonry. This will merge the outdoor natural space with the indoor architectural aesthetic to create a wonderful outdoor space. highlights include a custom designed stone pathway made from locally sourced bluestone that leads to a relaxing patio, complete with custom built seating. A variety of unique perennial gardens were added for their seasonal color, variety of plants, and ability to attract, conserve, and enhance the ecosystem in the neighborhood. One of the 's primary challenges was the slope of the ground that required grading and drainage. The Petra Masonry team implemented a full landscape design to create solutions for the ground sloping and proper drainage to have consistent, healthy plants. French drains were installed throughout the design to control drainage and prevent puddles of water so the newly planted vegetation would flourish. Quality materials, including natural stone, premium soil blends, and eco-friendly mulch, were used to demonstrate our commitment to sustainability while enhancing the landscape. As a stunning centerpiece, clean lines of soft flowing water were provided in a custom water feature that adds soothing sounds and a relaxing ambiance to the outdoor setting. The finished ended up being a stunning landscape, enhancing the appearance of the home from the street as well as creating multi-purpose space for relaxing or entertaining guests. The clients were overjoyed with the end product, and stated it was beyond their expectations when creating their outdoor sanctuary in an environmentally pleasing manner.
