Thomas Landscaping, Inc., in beautiful Loveland, Ohio: 'Fun Firepit Build. This was a that needed to convert the space into an outdoor gathering place for family and friends on cool evenings under the stars. Flagstone was selected for the firepit surround that would withstand the elements as well as time and a stone seating wall that wraps around the firepit was also crafted to provide both comfort and style. The firepit itself is fitted with a modern gas insert that lights at the flick of a switch, allowing you to dial up (or down) the heat, and that creates heat without the hassle of wood fires. We built a lovely patio area around the firepit out of permeable pavers to keep the area well-drained, and to enable an environmentally friendly yard. A major obstacle that we had to overcome on this was the uneven ground in the back yard. Our experienced landscapers did the grading to keep a proper foundation while maintaining the integrity of the site. We also added a lot of ornamental grasses and flowering perennials to the picture with ornamental plantings wrapping the firepit into something beautiful to look at as well as something to feel at home next tosomething that will sing with life and bring color to contrast all the stone. The end product is a beautiful outdoor space that was produced in line with our customer. They have made their firepit area the centerpiece of their backyard where they can entertain friends and family and tell stories and memories for many years to come. This experience not only made our client a happy one, but has also added great value to his property owing to our quality of work and craftsmanship. J.R.
