About This Project

Swarthmore Residence Fine Garden Creations is delighted to showcase our most recent masterpiece, in landscape design & installation at the Swarthmore Residence! This stands as a testament to quality and originality, located in the heart of Swarthmore. This design was executed as a full garden renovation, incorporating a combination of native planting alongside some ornamental species discarding the use of dry, fossilized mulch, burying the plastic roof and re-vegetating the area to provide an active ecosystem. We incorporated quality materials like natural stone walkways, composite decking that will stand up to weather, and mulch that is aesthetically pleasing yet nurturing to local biodiversity. A big challenge was dealing with the slope, which we turned into a tiered garden with classy retaining walls from local stone. That helped keep soil in place and created more layers of depth to an otherwise really flat landscape. We also put in a peaceful water feature that calmed the place down and could attract some of the local animals. The end product is a beautiful outdoor retreat with a variety of trees, vibrantly coloured flower beds and popular sitting spaces that serve as the perfect family coupler to quiet nights in. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and satisfying our customers and we have left the homeowners delighted with this beauty of a space.
