BBQ Island Palm Desert We are Leon's Landscaping & Tree Service Inc, the team behind this Pearl of a 'BBQ Island', you just can't go back once you put this BBQ setup in your back yard to enjoy your time @ Palm Desert. The client had a vision of an ideal place for entertainment through this , we made sure that functionality was not compromised along with the aesthetics. The BBQ Island includes a large, bespoke grill built on-natural stone for the original, create facility. The countertop is a high-end granite that offers prep and serving space and the built-in fire pit provides warmth and ambience for evenings. We then implemented a well thought out landscape design around the BBQ area, with native, low-maintenace desert plants (agave, yucca, desert flowers, etc.) but with some punch. The main challenge we had to overcome was the slope of the land so lots of creative engineering was needed to create a flat foundation for the BBQ island to rest upon. The retaining walls were built by our talented team and the stone was quarried nearby blending well with the landscape for unified appearance. In addition, we added a drip irrigation system to keep them alive in the desert while using the least amount of water. The end product is stunning outdoor living that serves the client great when it comes to entertaining and exists in relationship with the natural surroundings of Palm Desert! The client was absolutely delighted by the outcome and commended us on our level of detail and quality of workmanship. BBQ Island has now become the new centre for outdoor get-togethers, combining style, comfort and proximity.
