Pool Patio Area (Palm Desert, CA) This is the stunning remodel of a pool patio area in Palm Desert, CA, and we appreciate your compliments! at Leon's Landscaping & Tree Service Inc. A peaceful retreat that blends with the surrounding landscape was the plan for this . At the heart of the patio, an elaborate natural stone deck includes durable flagstone pavers from a local quarry, providing an elegant yet resilient surface to withstand the harsh desert climate. We carefully chose beige and earthy colors that mimic the many bright colors of the desert flowers. A custom pergola was added to provide shade, but also a solid and stylish place to sit. The water features were incorporated very well with a fountain providing a calming atmosphere and also attracting local wildlife. We used a number of native drought-resistant plants around the pool, ranging from agave grass and desert marigolds to provide natural beauty and reduce water consumption, in line with sustainable landscaping practices. The encountered several challenges, mainly due to the site's elevation change throughout, which necessitated a lot of leveling in order to achieve drainage and eliminate water pooling. With these challenges the talented team was able to work around them to make sure the layout was not only functional but attractive. The end result is an incredible retreat that goes beyond what the client dreamed of. This luxurious outdoor space combines well thought design, quality materials and craftsmanship to form an impressive yet relaxed lounge zone.
