Designs By Elizabeth The Woodlands Landscape Located in heart of The Woodlands, this incredible landscaping by Designs By Elizabeth is the true definition of style and functionality outdoors! The aspiration was to develop a calm but lively landscape that blends gracefully with the natural landscape while reinforcing the architecture of the residence. Our team was tasked with converting a yard that is graded on a slope into a more visually appealing and usable space. We designed multi-functional tiered garden beds using materials that matched the home and the local environment including locally sourced stone, durable pavers and an extensive palette of native plant material to solve drainage issues and add layers and texture to the landscape. Boulders were donated by a local quarry and the addition of natural stone pathways solved the accessibility issue and provided visual interest. At the heart of this is the bespoke outdoor living space, which takes the form of a rustic arboreal space, such as a wooden pergola partially covered in natural vines to become a sun-dappled retreat for relaxation or socialising. There is a fire pit with ample seating arranged around it, creating the ideal space for evening hangs. A warm-toned landscape lighting complements the architecture and builds a mood after sunset. We hand-pick a selection of native plants that are best-suited for our local climate to ensure minimal maintenance and gorgeous year-round displays. Colorful flowers, evergreen foliage, and ornamental grasses were strategically planted for wildlife habitat and to provide off-season visual appeal. The end result was a beautiful outdoor oasis that truly captured their lifestyle and personality and far exceeded the expectations of our client. The Woodlands Landscape showcases our dedication to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail, further solidifying the Designs By Elizabeth as a symbol of excellence throughout Conroe, Houston, Humble, Magnolia, and beyond! It not only gave the home a completely new fresh look but also a beautifully classy area where the family and friends can enjoy it for years to come.
