About This Project

Hill Country, Cypress, Texas Designs By Elizabeth Presents 'Hill Country' Landscape Transformation Cypress, Texas This was intended to remind you of the tranquil landscapes of the Texas Hill Country while comfortably sitting in and amongst it. There were bumps in the road for our team due to the topography and soil conditions of the area: By utilizing the most modern grading techniques and drought-tolerant native plants, we created a landscape that is both sustainable and that flourishes in the Texas conditions. Largely limestone trails snakes state-of-the-art areas busy mirrors comfortable wildflower patches, endemic grasses, boulders to serve design aesthetic and growers idiosyncratic to lighting and erosion. That included a beautiful stone fire pit with rustic seating for star-gazing Texas evenings. It was only appropriate that we included a water feature as it added a soothing sound of flowing water to the harmony of relaxation. The stones in the spaces were sourced locally, and reclaimed wood was used to build a lot of things, in addition to the fact that a lot of high quality materials were used such that the taste and the quality were inherently always top-notch. Through thoughtful material selection and detailing, we were able to create a design that resonates with the Hill Country while fulfilling our client’s request for an indoor / outdoor experience. What they now have is a magnificent area that adds value to the property but, more importantly, serves as an oasis for the family. The satisfied clients delighted in the harmonious blend of nature and design that has made 'Hill Country' a testament to the artistry and effort that characterize Designs By Elizabeth.
