About This Project

Cashiers Residence B.B. Barns Landscape Services is pleased to present the landscape for Cashiers Residence, located in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. This is a prime example of our dedication to quality, creativity, and client satisfaction. The Cashiers Residence displayed a seamless mix of natural elements, including beautifully selected native plants, meandering stone pathways, and beautiful hardscape elements. Our team used locally harvested river stone for the pathways, so they will be durable and fit naturally into the landscape. To enhance the curb appeal of the home, we designed a lush garden bed, creating layers of texture, color, and to provide year-round interest with an assortment of perennials, grasses, and evergreens. One of the challenges of this space was its steep sloped nature, requiring us to thoughtfully consider erosion and the potential for functional outdoor spaces. Our talented team devised a solution of terraced gardens, effectively moving and managing water runoff while providing usable spaces for relaxing and gathering. We built a natural looking pond as another element that serves as a focal point while attracting and promoting local wildlife. In the end, the finished product at Cashiers Residence is a peaceful and calming retreat that responds to its natural site and fulfills the client's vision of creating an outdoor space to gather with family. The final installation represents our attention to detail and commitment to excellence, making this a great example of our craftsmanship at B.B. Barns Landscape Services in Asheville and Western NC.
