Barns Landscape Services is excited to present this 'Arbors, Fences, Planters & Decks,' which transformed outdoor living spaces in the beautiful hills of Asheville, Western NC into functional spaces that integrate the beauty of the landscape with the art/craft of landscaping. We began the by identifying the perfect materials to withstand weather and time while complementing the spectacular landscape. The arbors are made from sustainably harvested cedar, introducing a rustic charm that settles the structured entrance to the garden. Vines will mature on the side add a splash of color and fragrance to welcome guests to relax and unwind. Custom fences made of treated wood and light decorative metal accents provide a unique backdrops for gathering or unwinding with privacy that reflects individual tastes. We are particularly pleased with our contribution of reclaimed wood planters designed to not only capture the beauty of blooming flowers and herbs but also align with our eco-friendly nature in purchasing materials. The planters are positioned to have sun iterated from 6-10 hours a day for adjustable irrigation possibilities and easy access for planting, watering and harvesting. The deck, made of composite materials, has offered our clients the best of long-lasting durability to all weather impacts without upkeep and maintenance allowing simply enjoyment of their outdoor haven. Deck plans offered designs for decoration and lighting to enjoy an evening gathering under a starlit sky. The only challenge faced in the other than the weather was the slope in grading the lot to rain away from the house and dig further into the hillside. This required innovative problem solving and I system throughout the install process. We ensured everything was structurally sound and visually attractive at every stage. We created an amazing outdoor sanctuary for the client and this work has improved the client’s quality of life. Everything is working in tandem, from the arbors to the deck, for both quality craftsmanship and work in the profession of landscaping. B.B.
