Old Greene Rd Carrier's Lawn & Landscape LLC is pleased to present the 'Old Greene Rd' , an impressive landscape installation that demonstrates our fundamental principles of quality and creativity in landscaping. Located in the wonderful town of Greene, and servicing areas of Auburn, Danville, and surrounding communities, we are proud of our ability to elevate outdoor spaces. The 's scope was a complete re-do of the original landscape, which offered some unique challenges. The original yard had a lot of un level ground and drainage issues, which diminished the aesthetic appeal, as well as the function of the area. Our professional team addressed these issues, not only by creating a new grading and drainage plan based on how the water would flow, but also to improve the health of the pre-existing landscape. Using native plants and sustainable materials was a priority for the . The final result was a visually delightful combination of plant life that grows well in the local micro-climates. We utilized a great varietal of perennials, ornamental grasses, and shrubs, selected intentionally for seasonal appeal, as well as pest resistance. Decorative stone, acquired from a local quarry, was used to lay out pathways throughout the landscape. The granite provides both durability and a natural aesthetic, that was cohesive to the surrounding natural setting. In addition to enhancing the landscape, we also designed an outdoor living space where the family could congregate outdoors, through the incorporated design of a custom fire pit area which included seating, and ample lighting, which creates the ambiance for hosting evening events as a family. We also included raised, vegetable beds, further supporting a sustainable effort, while also inviting the family to engage with the space through contributions of their own produce. The end result of the could only be epitomized in one word; stunning. The client was thrilled to see their vision, or use of "functional landscape" take shape into living colors, enhanced function, reduced maintenance, and ultimately a space reflective of their lifestyle.
