This took place in beautiful Newton and fused the beauty of nature with the vision of incorporated design, creating a beautiful and relaxing space right in the clients backyard. The waterfall, as the landscape , will introduce the sound of water flowing, and quietude you would receive from a pond while avoiding the pond maintenance this is not a traditional pond. The waterfall is designed with high-quality natural stone and durable materials, with multiple tiers in the design to create a flow of water. The boulders and gravel were thought out which adds additional visual to the built upgrade and the circulation of water, so it does not become stagnant while supporting aquatic life. One of the biggest challenges was the slope and drainage of the site. The team designed the layout of the waterfall to address the slope thoughtfully while being discreet while maintaining an enhanced aesthetic of the waterfall, as well as built a hidden reservoir that promotes draining of water. However, while addressing the slope of the site to be a picturesque vision ensure the waterfall was constructed in an operational function for the delight of the client even during heavy rains. In addition to the waterfall, the surrounding landscape introduced native plants and ornamental grass to fulfill and create interest throughout the year while supporting a habitat for wildlife. While also leaning toward sustainable practices with conscientious materials to be eco-friendly and promotes a thriving environment along the site and as part of the surrounding areas' particular ecosystem. The result is an extraordinary oasis for the client's enjoyment to escape their busy lives.
