Designed to enhance and complement the existing landscape architecture, this upswept pergola engages and builds upon the shape, feel, and experience of the surrounding landscape with intricate lattice work, and LED lighting will complete the distinct feel of this outdoor space. Along with a new pergola, our experienced team carefully selected plantings to enrich the aesthetic value and biodiversity of the area. Native plants, like vibrant perennials, ornamental grasses, and select shrubs, were expertly mused for their ability to provide year-long beauty while also attracting local wildlife. In this situation, our designer carefully arranged the perennials for both aesthetic and ecological diversity associated with their use as a sustainable landscape feature. There were challenges in the existing area associated with varied grades and an existing hardscape of varying conditions. We fashioned grading solutions, carefully planning our timing in which to execute our recommendations, which ensured that all aspects and features appeared integrated. The result is a cohesive design that maximizes the use of space through thoughtful planning associated with the use of perennials in this sustainable design . The overall result of the significantly exceeded the client's expectations. The end result transformed their area into a sanctuary of balance in style and utility.
