Traditional Front Entrance Completed by: Creative Landscapes, Inc. Located in Garden City, this Traditional Front Entrance shows the skill and passion of Creative Landscapes, Inc. This maintains the classic artistry of design while also reimagining modern functionality utilizing the best local materials sourced from Murrells Inlet, Myrtle Beach, Pawleys Island, Socastee, Surfside Beach, and Georgetown. The design includes a wide, well-delivered stone pathway, sourced from Nebraska, with a suitable local flora of low maintenance perennial beds that allow for seasonal blooms. When selecting the flowers we specifically chose vibrational colors that would compare nicely with the soft tones of the stone. The stone invites guests to amble down the entrance and pause for an entry. Also purposefully in every we completed is attention to the vertical spaces as well. In this measure, we constructed wooden arbors so that below the climbing jasmine would further provide fragrance and warmth. One difficulty with the design was the quality of the soil....This not only inhibited healthy plant growth but also precluded quality assessment and guidance for additional plants in the future. Within the methods and remediation process, we developed a sensible soil amendment process, considering seed depth and grow media. We also integrated a sophisticated underground drainage system, that minimized pooling and allowed for primary drainage solutions as simple as planting! A thought goal was anticipated by the clients who had it in mind for healthy planting, they loved the overall result and what had been accomplished! The traditional front entrance is a stand-out highlight as well as simple enough to be loved from curbside and overall noticeably reduces the home’s at-distance curb appeal and the outcome in this context makes it simply beautiful for guests, owners, and visitors, alike.
