From Allenhurst to Asbury Park and further, our team takes on this with a goal to create a space that is as highly functional as it is beautiful; an outdoor oasis imbued with naturalism to complement the surrounding beauty of the area. The involved the installation of an impressive obelisk structure. The natural stone used is of a high quality and complements the coastal scene. This piece gestures both towards a decorative architectural element, as well as the trellis for a garden; climbing plants that lend their vertical interest and greenery the backdrop of this design. We designed a mix of native plants, perennials and ornamental grasses around the obelisk so that it would provide visual interest throughout the seasons and support local biodiversity. The uneven ground also meant grading was needed on site and soil stabilization issues had to be addressed before we could lay the obelisk and adjacent beds on a level foundation. Working with sustainable materials and methods, our expert team created a long-lasting in this coastal setting with permeable pathways composed of reclaimed stone that facilitate drainage and minimize runoff and similar green materials. The landscape created is stunning and merging from both the structure and nature. An obelisk soars above the ample blooms of color and texture, beckoning clients and guests to peruse the garden in each direction.
