Avon Backyard by Coastal Concepts Client: Michele and Jim Location: Avon By The Sea, New Jersey, USA Duration: October 2020 November 2020 Nestled in the historic and beautiful area of Avon By The Sea, the Avon Backyard by Coastal Concepts is a wonder to behold. This lovely and fully re-done was created with the purpose of seeing the stunning transformation of a serene and beautiful outdoor space. The location provided the perfect background for the amazing transformation. This truly stunning consisted of a beautifully laid-out multi-tiered garden surrounded by lush and vibrant flower beds. It can also serve as an excellent example for many homeowners as it demonstrates how functional and beautiful patios can be. In this particular , Coastal Concepts used beautiful and locally-made stone pavers. In addition to the wonderful aesthetic appeal, the chosen materials were an excellent complement to the extremely harsh climate of the Jersey shore area. This coastal location presented many challenges to the designing team, including the landscape slope and the need for waterflow. The many dangers of water, including erosion and pooling, had to be addressed by the designers who employed many techniques to grade the area properly. The client loved the final result as the wonderful array of plants was low-maintenance and included high tide hydrangeas and beach grass. Coastal Concepts was happy to deliver the that met the clients’ wishes as they loved the greenery and the flair that stonework presented. The clients often treat the backyard as their favorite place to be and marvel at how well it fits into the location. The Avon Backyard is one of the hardest and satisfying s that the Coastal Concepts have ever done!
