Fire Pits by Landscape Workshop Here at Landscape Workshop we recently completed an exquisite fire pit installation that turned outdoor space into cozy retreats for our client in Lexington, Lexington-Fayette, Georgetown, and surrounding areas, including Sadieville, Stamping Ground, Nicholasville, Paris, Winchester, Midway, Versailles, Berea, and Richmond. This featured a gorgeous circular fire pit constructed using durable, locally sourced stone that was compatible with the natural landscape. The design features natural/rustic components, with a selected stone finish that coordinates with the adjacent plants in the landscape. To create usability, we designed a seating area around the fire pit that incorporated durable, weather-resistant materials to make family and friends comfortable at night when the weather is cool. The was difficult due to incorporating the fire pit along a slope in the yard. Our skilled team used creative landscaping methods to create a tiered effect that would be stable and appeal to the landscape. Our team expertly graded the surrounding area and incorporated plants native to the area to create a seamless transition between the fire pit and the landscape already in place. The end product provided a stunning outdoor gathering space that created both a focal point and a space to enjoy the outdoors for years to come. Our clients could not have been happier with the final product and praised the detailed craftsmanship. Having this fire pit not only increased the value of the property, but has become an area to gather, entertain, and spend time with family and engage in delightful discussions under the stars.
