New Canaan, CT, 2016 Austin Ganim Landscape Design, LLC is proud to announce the completion of the 'Hardscape Elements - Patio & Walls' . The encompassed the design of a refined patio area and well-crafted dry-stacking walls to create a timeless and high-performance space By using the best natural materials available, including bluestone and granite, our team crafted a wonderful patio space where friends and family can gather. The types of materials used during the design of this home certainly match with the overall atmosphere of the surrounding area. The design includes a variety of textured surfaces, beautiful yet safe, even when wet. A major challenge we faced during this build was the varying height of the site. Beautifully structured, but holding the ground in place, our highly qualified team developed retaining walls. The walls were built using local stone, creating an artisanal balance to the surrounding context. The end result is a stunning outdoor paradise, and this was a client that we far exceeded the expectations. This patio has become a gathering place with gardens surrounding the area, and soft lighting turning the space into a magical oasis at night. The work we did not only was a value-add to the property but also gave the family a tranquil space to spend time creating memories together.
