About This Project

Title: La Jolla Small Space Information We are proud to share the 'La Jolla Small Space' at Juniper Landscape Company that showcases our high level of quality and creativity in landscaping. Located in the center of La Jolla, this small outdoor space presented some inherent challenges, like a small amount of square footage, and a wish for a colorful space that works. We designed it in a way to ensure an optimum area with an eye on usability along with aesthetics. For the dry area of our garden, we chose native plants that will not only grow well here, but also need intensive care to ensure they are sustainable and the overall environment becomes harmonious. At the centre of the landscape, chocolate-coloured stone paving made from locally sourced stone leads to a comfortable seating area where custom-made weatherproof furniture is situated. To tackle the vertical element difficulty, we managed to fit in a vertical garden wall to address and provide dimensions and greenery without taking away from the precious floor space. In the evenings, soft ambient lighting does wonders to the inviting space that set the perfect mood for entertaining or lying low. The end product is a stunning little garden paradise that encapsulates the clients vision but is also an example of the high level of quality of the workmanship we provide. But this new , 'La Jolla Small Space' tested our skills and ability to delight our clients whilst transforming an area that had timelessly gone neglect into a palette of color and life.
