About This Project

The Ober Patio True North Landscaping Located in Downtown Indianapolis, the Ober Patio showcases its commitment to quality and innovation across the entire landscape, and is a complete redesign of a previously neglected backyard - transformed into a beautiful outdoor retreat for both entertainment and relaxation. The included a beautiful custom patio built using quality durable pavers that are not only stunning but also complement the natural landscape. True North chose a warm-neutral color palette that fit the aesthetics while ensuring longevity. Surrounding the patio, low-maintenance gardens of perennial plants, showing a variety of color throughout the seasons, were carefully selected to engage the existing beauty of the property. The biggest challenge was the uneven site during installation, and our team efficiently graded the site to combat any drainage concerns while creating a level base for the patio. This service improved the usability of the outdoor space while providing peace of mind regarding the possibility of ponding water under the installation throughout its life. In addition to upgrading the property, we included some thoughtful lighting around the site to create an ambiance in the evening - illuminating the patio and gardens. The centerpiece of the entire was a built-in firepit feature that was made of natural stone, providing heat for family and friends to gather. In the end the Ober Patio exceeded the goals of the client, the restoration of their oasis in the backyard, and created a beautiful space. The design, quality materials, and installation effort culminated into a beautiful outdoor landscape that represented the clients style for relaxation and entertainment. True North Landscaping is happy and proud to produce a that they can enjoy and appreciate for years to come.
