Empire Zoysa by Council Growers Sod Farm Right in Florida, where the landscape verb vibrantly livens up, Council Growers Sod Farm has successfully completed the Empire Zoysia which upgraded a regular lawn to a rich lush playground for our clients located in the Sun City Center area. This a good example of our commitment to quality and our attention to detail for the communities of Apollo Beach, Balm, Boyette, Gibsonton, Parrish, Riverview, Ruskin and Wimasuma. The ’s showcase feature was the top-notch ‘Empire Zoysia’ sod, selected due to its outstanding drought resistance and tolerance of the warm Florida weather. This sturdy grass not only enhanced the property visually with its deep green color, but it produced a thick successfully usable surface for families to enjoy outdoor activities and gatherings. We faced challenges as well; for example, the yard had some uneven areas and existing vegetation which we dealt with by developing a plan at the site visit. After site development and grading soil, we were prepared to install the sod. We took the time to remove all the old vegetation and amend the soil with organic matter for healthy nutrient grow. Even thought sod and landscaping maintenance was a priority, we added some dimension and beauty to the landscaping by installing flower beds with indigenous plantings strategically scattered in the backyard to attract pollinators and other native wildlife. Additionally, the flower beds and light decorative stones helped create flow and functionality around the lot. Also, we installed a well-thought-out irrigation system to manage watering for the new lawn to be established in timely manner. The end result was fantastic! Our clients were excited to see their new landscape lots transformed. This criteria improved the curb appearance of the home and provided a beautiful relaxing area the family can enjoy. The Empire Zoysia was a live demonstration of Council Growers Sod Farm being committed to offering services of quality, and bringing functional landscapes to design concepts.
