About This Project

New Living Areas by Kalamazoo Garden & Interior Design, LLC Kalamazoo Garden & Interior Design, LLC is excited to showcase our New Living Areas , a redesign of outdoor living space in Comstock, Kalamazoo, Portage, Richland, and Scotts. This exemplified our vision of providing livable, beautiful outdoor spaces that fit our client's lifestyle. The design was a unique blend of native plants, ornamental grasses, and colorful perennials, all chosen because of their strength and low maintenance. We used the highest quality materials, including natural stone pathways, cedar wood decking, and custom-built seating areas all constructed to compass the landscape without feeling intrusive. We used tiered garden beds to address a challenging uneven terrain, which made the space more accessible while also adding depth and dimension to the design. This install took the over the top was a beautiful water feature; not only was it a gorgeous focal point, but it offered a relaxing sound. The final product was nothing short of a sustainable, eco-friendly garden and irrigation solution to save water. The end result was a beautiful outdoor oasis showcasing our versatile offerings; outdoor spaces for clients to gather with friends, unwind at the end of the day, and engage with nature. The final design executed was also indicative of representing the client's vision and lifestyle with every we build as excellent landscape designers.
