Patios & Walkways by Kalamazoo Garden & Interior Design, LLC Kalamazoo Garden & Interior Design, LLC recently completed a terrific landscaping d "Patios & Walkways" for the residents in Comstock, Kalamazoo, Portage, Richland, and Scotts. This transformed an unused outdoor space into a beautiful, usable space that is both stunning and functional. When we began the , we worked very closely with the client to establish their needs and wishes for the including their lifestyle and style preferences. The design was meant to create walkways that invited wandering and relaxing along with a beautiful patio to entertain and enjoy. We provided a beautiful finish using quality materials such as natural stone pavers and long-lasting environmentally friendly concrete that add sophistication to the outdoor space while providing the area especially beautiful clients a family in which they use and love. Another challenge that we had to tackle was that the area was not graded evenly, which is addressed another significant concern in determining the overall design and aesthetics, since we desire to provide a very smooth level surface for the patio space and walkways. Therefore, we needed to punch some drainage into the ground along with calculate and build the grading for the area. Overall, the outdoor oasis created with a spacious stone patio that creates a very comfortable seating area for guests and family and a fire pit for entertainment is absolutely gorgeous. The walkways connect all the spaces and contain native plant material along the way to land more interest for wander to plush the guest garden plants, etc. Other plants will be added later once the clients see it established to stimulate the indoor/outdoor living areas as well as lit with a decorative overlay for inclusion of assemblage.
