Office Landscaping by Kalamazoo Garden & Interior Design, LLC Kalamazoo Garden & Interior Design, LLC is excited to announce the completion of the 'Office' landscaping . This commercial property in the heart of Kalamazoo has been transformed into a vibrant, welcoming space through our landscaping design and construction. Our focus was to create a landscape that adds beauty, but also serves as a stimulating space for employees and clients. This included a variety of native plant species, selected for their low maintenance and sustainability, in order to provide year-round beauty while conserving water and limiting maintenance. Various hardscaping features were also added, one being a beautiful paver-path that takes visitors through the gardens surrounding the building. Another feature was a peaceful seating area with natural stone-no maintenance benches. Both are a great addition for employees needing a break, or perhaps meeting with clients. One of the challenges of this was the grade of the land, which made drainage an issue for us to consider. Our landscape architects planned an innovative grading solution, which was to create a slight slope that would eliminate the possibility of water pooling in the future, while adding more visual interest to this already wonderful space. The end result, was an open feel of flora and structure joined with wedding seasonal flower beds to offer beautiful color and additional visual joy throughout the year. The clients were thrilled, and said that this new landscape not only improved the curb appeal- which is invaluable- but that it offered an inviting oasis for both employees and clients to enjoy.
