This 's Rationale was started because the client had long standing water in the back yard which would cause erosion issues while also being un-useable. A complete site assessment performed by our team identified several areas where water was not being sufficiently drained, We suggested a solution that relied on targeted grading and included an advanced drainage system to turn and direct surplus water away from the property. With perforated drainage pipes and gravel beds integrated in the surrounding landscape, we constructed a perfect system built with high-quality materials to facilitate the movement of water. Despite many complexities including different soil types and existing hardscaping, our drainage experts provided a complete solution that integrated well with the landscape. That process involved cutting and filling to raise critical sections of the yard to establish gentle slopes that provided good drainage while being more aesthetic as well. Natural stone was used to ensure the solution would be both functional and aesthetically pleasing while incorporation native plants and accent stones to further enhance the site character. The client was over the moon on completion, stating that they absolutely love the new green area that now has a beautiful garden instead of standing water. And all of the work that was done in the yard didn't just make it more functional, it also made it a perfect place for family to come over and enjoy a nice gathering outside.
