North Clarkston Residence Outdoor Expressions, Inc. is excited to present the North Clarkston Residence, a landscape transformation integrating rustic beauty and refined sophistication. This in the heart of Clarkston is a shining example of the quality we pride ourselves on and what we can do for outdoor spaces. We started with extensive consultation to know what the client had in mind. According to Lopez spray park team leader Krista Lopez, this location presented challenges including the slope of land that required consideration in grading and erosion control. In order to deal with this, we decided to go for a tiered garden layout where we made use of natural stone retaining walls from locally sourced limestone. This helped to ensure the terrain remained stable, while also incorporating something of rustic charm into the property. The design features a beautiful patio space using quality pavers to suit the home. A fireplace nestled in a lush setting of seating for family and guest entertaining. Our palette consisted of carefully chosen native planting, colourful and exciting perennials, and ornamental grasses to boost biodiversity while remaining a low-maintenance, sustainable solution. An irrigation system was also part of the , designed according to the requirements of the plantings, so they are able to thrive through the seasons. As such we relied on our talented team to integrate this system without any visual impact on the landscape. After the completion, the North Clarkston Residence was a tranquil retreat that feels at one with nature. The client was overjoyed with the results, praising both the purposeful design and craft put into the .
