Elegant Oolite Fountain One of the landscaping s we are proud of is the “Stylish Oolite Fountain” from our Amazing Outdoors Miami. An ordinary outdoor area is now an oasis of tranquility and beauty. Our team rolled up their sleeves to bring forth a stunning water feature that feels right at home among the vibrant Jumbo Neighborhoods we serve across the area including Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Doral and beyond. This is olitic limestone fountain, which is a natural durable stone. It is designed on different tiered levels so that it flows down naturally, producing soothing sounds as it flows, thus adding to the tranquillity. Lush local flora surrounding the fountain not only enhances the warm colors of the stone but also creates a gentle habitat for surrounding wildlife. The first and most important challenge we had was the topography of the site. Our team worked carefully to first level the ground, then construct a drainage system around the fountain to facilitate the movement of excess water away from it to keep the surrounding landscape as intact as possible. We chose drought tolerant plants that use less water, in keeping with sustainable practices that speak to our environmentally conscious customers. It is absolutely stunning and is a beautiful addition to the home and together it is a cooler, zen place for the home owner and people that visit. Our client was thrilled with the results, stating that the fountain fit effortlessly into their outdoor area and created a beautiful conversational and relaxation piece.
