This landscape renovation was created to beautify and add utility to the outdoor space. Our team started with a physical evaluation of the property’s unique features to determine if there were any opportunities for improvement, while also gaining an understanding and perspective from the client on their ultimate vision for their dream landscape. The included a wide selection of native Florida plant species, selected for attributes of tolerance to drought and low maintenance, while providing a colorful and beautiful outdoor space in every season. One of the challenges was the large differences in elevation on the property, requiring us to extend grades to existing levels and bring together the adjoining areas. Our team crafted walls for terracing of locally obtained stone that provided stability, but also added a beautiful expression of style in the garden. There is an inviting natural flagstone pathway through the landscape that leads to a thoughtful seating area popular for both gatherings and quiet nights with family around a beautiful custom-crafted wood framed firepit for extended use of the outdoors. Careful thought into lighting for features in the surrounding landscape, as well as safety in the night, contributed to the inviting ambiance of the outdoor environment at any time of the day or night. Lastly, a sod installation with vibrant green grass completed the , illustrating beauty, while beckoning the family to enjoy their outdoor space. The irrigation system installed as part of the renovation provided for sustainable health of the landscape while conserving as much water as possible to ensure the plants thrived. The finished exceeded the clients intent for use of the space, and has developed a tropical paradise that perfectly compliments their way of life.
