Our task, in this complete landscape transformation, was to accomplish our client's vision while responsive to the site, the character of the property and enhancing the existing landscape. The first part of the was to perform an in-depth site analysis that led us to witness the site’s best features. After the analysis, we drafted an exquisite landscape layout that incorporated a stunning combination of native plants, conducive to an eco-friendly landscape that attracts native wildlife, while at the same time creating low maintenance resources. Providence Landscaping was dedicated to procuring the highest quality products such as natural stone pavers for pathways and weather resistant Durable outdoor furniture. Working presenting some challenges was the slope of the property which presented several grading issues. Providence Landscaping came up with an inventive solution by adding tiered flower beds and a natural stone retaining wall that ultimately resolved grading and drainage issues, while creating depth and height in the design. The space in the patio area created a great opportunity to use a permeable paver now that creates better water features, especially during heavy rain storms, together with uniquely sized island beds adding detail and beauty. The end product, the Kenwood, is a beautiful outdoor area that has a water feature and gorgeous landscape lighting that produces a delightful area at night. This space has turned a typical backyard into a beautiful place to have family functions or just relax away from the daily grind, while enjoying lush plants and blooming flowers in harmony.
