Vankirk by Providence Landscaping, LLC Situated in the center of East Griffin, the Vankirk is a showcase of the design and craftsmanship of Providence Landscaping, LLC. This took a backyard space and created an incredible outdoor escape that connected nature to a modern design. Our team created multiple distinct zones in the landscape, each designed to serve its own purpose while connecting with the environment. We built a beautiful stone patio using local flagstone, a highly durable and attractive base for outdoor gatherings. The patio area was surrounded with a perennial garden filled with colorful typography ranging through all the seasons from spring to fall. One of the most interesting aspects of this was the unique terrain. While landscaping with the team, there were challenges to leveling and grading the area. We created cut-and-filled terrace gardens that added visual interest as well as better drainage and soil growing purview. Committed to sustainable landscaping, we used the highest quality mulch and local plants to reduce maintenance that the clients would have experienced in their new space. The real featured item of the Vankirk was the custom fire pit we designed that had seating designed around it. It is the perfect escape for family to gather and unwind for special evenings. When we added lighting, it activated the evening experience and created additional ambiance for guests, well after the sun set. In the end, the Vankirk landscaping maintained the expectations of the clients, while creating a customized retreat to their back yard. The elements of functionality and beauty were able to be combined into a high-grade setting for the landscape that represented the quality workmanship that Providence Landscaping, LLC values in its s.
