About This Project

Lakeview patio and pergola Introducing Artscape Land Design 's 'Lakeview Patio and Pergola' , a beautiful New Orleans ++++++++. Located in the beautiful area of Elmwood, Jefferson, Kenner, Metairie, Metairie Terrace, and River Ridge, this was designed to upgrade our client's outdoor living experience. The main aim was to have a normal aspect of functional and natural beauty. We built a large multi-level patio utilizing rich, durable and resilient travertine pavers which allows for a classic appearance. The generous patio leads into the lush, naturalistic landscape surrounding the house, with handsome plant beds of local flora that attract wildlife while providing vibrant color and texture throughout the seasons. At the heart of this outdoor retreat rests a beautiful wooden pergola handcrafted from premium money cedar, naturally decay and insect resistant. A crossbeams construction provides the right amount of sun and shade, which is perfect for an outdoor dining area. The structure was further integrated with a custom lighting fixtures to give warmth for evening gatherings after sunset use. Challenges such as a sloped yard and existing drainage issues had to be dealt with throughout the . A carefully engineered solution included grading and an underground drainage system to convey water without disturbing the picturesque landscape. The end product is a stunning outdoor space that serves our clients while also knocking their socks off. Now called the 'Lakeview Patio and Pergola,' it serves as a sanctuary to get away, a place to gather with family and friends to enjoy each other company with a cocktail or two!
