Rooted in the greenery of Lacey and Tumwater, this connects nature and art into your own joyful and whimsical paradise. Our expert team introduced engaging landscaping elements to bring the clients' vision to life! The design was centered on a curving path of river stones that were sourced from the local river, giving visitors an experience both in close touch with the garden’s elements. With whimsical planting beds brimming with colorful perennials, native wildflowers and ornamental grasses wrapping along the edges of the pathway, the trail invites imagination and interaction with nature. A reclaimed wood gazebo is the centerpiece for meetings. Covered by crabapple trees and bathed in the glow of fairy lights, it is the ideal setting for either a glass of wine or a cocktail party. A bubbling fountain that provides a lovely auditory element and draws wildlife further enriches the serenity. The slope in our backyard for example, was one of the challenges our team mastered beautifully. Our solution was a series of tiered garden beds that mitigated the erosion while also creating layers of interest visually. The beds were planted with a selection of drought-tolerant plants that minimized the need for watering, while providing visual interest year-round. The end product is a beautiful, functional yet artistic backyard that the client never dreamed they would have. This playfulness with detail and enthusiasm for quality is a testament to the quality of Cascadecopia but also our intimate familiarity with the landscapes of Olympia, Tanglewilde-Thompson Place, and the Nisqually Indian Community.
