In one of our recent s, 'Creative Edging', located in the beautiful fields of East Olympia, Lacey, and the Nisqually Indian Community, we focused on the themes of quality and innovation. Here, the garden edging needed a modern twist to make it look good and yet be sustainable. We used the best locally sourced materials such as natural stone and salvaged wood to achieve a natural but sophisticated finish. These materials their rustic character and ensured durability against the Pacific Northwest's changing weather. The main challenge we had to deal with was the slope of the clients garden, which requires a lot of planning and attention to detail. With a combination of leveling engineering and intuitive design solutions, our team created crisp, organic lines that mirrored the yard's existing shapes. We also developed the edging to separate parts of the garden, like flower beds and paths, for an orderly look that still features various elements throughout. We ended up putting a stunning garden which already met our client expectation. The smoothness of the stone and the roughness of the wood complemented each other beautifully, and the shapes of the borders were very well defined to create structure.
