Ventura Drought Friendly Landscape by Scarlett's Landscape, Inc. Scarlett's Landscape, Inc. is thrilled to present the 'Ventura Drought Friendly Landscape' , located in the heart of Ventura County. We delivered a landscaping to a customer who prioritized functional, sustainable, and environmentally friendly plants while being aesthetically pleasing. The included a large variety of drought-tolerant plant species, including California natives such as California poppies, lavender, and agave. These plants have been planted in deliberate patterns that will create a colorful but low-maintenance garden. There are permeable pavers for pathways to allow efficient water drainage while providing a more polished look to successfully incorporate with the other hardscaping to conform and flow with the existing architecture. A significant challenge was with the existing soil conditions, and large amounts of soil amendments had to be incorporated to allow for the new plant selection. Our team dedicated physical time and effort to preparing the soil and creating optimal plant growth conditions. We incorporated a smart irrigation system that allows for water usage efficiency and display our efforts for sustainable landscape practices. Overall, the is successful in providing an excellent landscape that savors on water use and intimately beautifies the property. The customer is proud of the material that should last a long time, with the perfect balance between beauty and environmental consciousness. The 'Ventura Drought Friendly Landscape' is an example of the quality craftsmanship and ingenuity that Scarlett's Landscape, Inc. strives to provide and has served as inspiration for similar landscape s, in all of our service areas in the San Pedro channel islands Beach area, Santa Barbara and Malibu.
