About This Project

Pathways Location: Mike Ball Irrigation Landscape & Lighting Mike Ball Irrigation Landscape & Lighting can turn the dullest landscape into something special. Among our more notable s is one we recently finished for a very happy homeowner in beautiful The Woodlands called 'Pathways.' For this , we designed and built a series of walking paths that blended effortlessly into the natural topography of the property. We chose quality materials like durable flagstone and permeable pavers that gave a nice look but would last well over the years. It featured lush flower beds and greenery which were lined with pathways to direct visitors where they needed to go, such as to a bench nook and a small water feature. So the undulating land that posed its own uncertainties, our engineers came up with innovative and solid interventions to keep the place level and reachable. The site was excavated and contours established by our talented team, allowing for gentle transitions from one area of the structural landscape to the next. We added LED lighting along the pathways to help with visibility as well as make for a cozy environment for a late evening stroll. When the 'Pathways' was finished, it surpassed client's expectations. This harmonious blend of form and function turned their tarp area into an idyllic escape, where tennis equipment can be put away so that the focus can turn to hosting friends, or a tranquil moment in the sun. This newly rejuvenated garden now welcomes seasonal flowers, whilst maintaining a sense of structure and flow to the property.
