Flower Beds & Landscape Curbing Client: Mike Ball Irrigation Landscape & Lighting Today we are showing off one of our most recent s, "Flower Beds & Landscape Curbing" in the Sugar Land community by Mike Ball Irrigation Landscape & Lighting. A re-design of a front yard for a client that not only improved the curb appeal but also worked well with the property and the neighbouring properties. We carefully planted colourful flower beds with many different types of native flowers and drought-tolerant plants, including perennials for colour, grasses for texture, and annuals for seasonal colour and interest. In order to delineate these exquisite areas, we installed high-quality landscape curbing made with solidified concrete designed to hold shape while allowing for proper soil drainage without any loss of soil as well as to prevent weed infiltration. The curb was custom molded to pair with that style of the home to give the property that final, cohesive appearance. The involved a range of obstacles from the old irrigation system which needed to be rerouted, yet was still functional in some areas, to the uneven terrain. Despite this challenge our team was able to overcome that by making sure we gave all plants enough water supply but doing so without ruining the overall aesthetics of the plantation. We installed a smart irrigation system, which means the garden gets watered but there is less wastage of water. An amazing landscape, was the result and it impressed the client greatly. A wonderful entry with the blooming flower beds against the backdrop of the neat edges of the curbing. The client was extremely happy with the quality of our work he appreciated the attention to detail and professionalism and commitment at every step of the process.
