Steps by Holly Days Nursery & Landscaping Holly Days Nursery & Landscaping recently had another enjoyable called Steps to bring some inspiration to the functionality and look to the resident in the beautiful town of Blue Bell. It just so happened that this little renovation included a beautiful stone path that runs from the backyard to the garden a beautiful way of transitioning through the space in a practical way. The started with extensive client consultations in order to document the design vision and business requirement. The ground was not completely level, but our super crew was able to build up the area to give it a solid footing. We used natural flagstone, a long-lasting material that never goes out of style, to create a multi-step entry that flows right into the natural landscape. Designed to work with the existing flora, the rich hues in the stone are designed to look as though they belong together within the landscape. Plantings native to the area, chosen for year-round interest, beautiful trees, grasses, herbaceous plants, and shrubs grow alongside the path. We also installed low-voltage lighting around the steps at night ensuring safety while displaying the beauty of the pathway after sunset. The end result was a stunning FQ conversion that surpassed expectations of the client. Snaking through the greenery, the steps have become a beautiful feature of the garden, encouraging family and friends to wander amongst the vegetation. Overall, feedback has been very positive with the client stating how lovely it is to have this new feature enhancing their outdoor living experience.
